There are different ways to connect with the divine. Most of them are based on repetition.

Repeating the same words in a prayer, or repeating patterns of breathing in meditation.

Repetition is key to connecting with the spiritual world.

The steps to create this piece were repetitive, from spinning the yarn, the punch needle embroidery, and the fiber placement were all a meditative process.

The third eye represents the connection between the physical and the spiritual world, a bridge that is there to connect us with the other side, but it is our job to keep that eye awake.
